Rockdale — Gorgeous segue -> from "A Western Sun." Traverses an incredibly deep terrain for its relatively short 14-minute runtime. The jam grows heavy and punishing, the band taking their time as they work their way into evil territory. Coming up for air, things percolate for a bit before a relatively smooth transition into "Atlas Dogs."
Atlas Dogs — The GOONTZ like it hadn't been played up to this point. No arpeggiator, things move into a heavy disco direction as Peter enters the fray on ring modulator Rhodes. Fantastic exploration of this theme eventually fades > to the ending of "Rockdale."
