Big Modern! — Kicks into a funkier variation on the typical peaky jam at first with Peter suggesting an ascending riff. Rick and Trevor play off of it for a bit before Cotter increases the tempo and things pick up steam. Rick cues multiple modulations with his talkback mic as things continue to build, breezing through a small peak before things flatten out into some punchy synth-driven funk. Toying with a cool bliss progression for a bit, Rick opts to pull into "Loose Ends" in lieu of more jamming.
Madhuvan — Coming late in a show light on improv, Goose makes up for lost time with a twisted, dissonant section reminiscent of the Milwaukee and Grand Rapids versions from earlier in the year. From there, Rick executes a smooth modulation to a dreamy major key and Peter works in some subtle Rhodes textures as the bliss jam eventually winds its way home to a hot conclusion.
